Inventories
Staff at the National Archives compile inventories of archival collections to be used as finding aids by researchers. At this stage most of these inventories are only available in hardcopy format in the Reading Room of the National Archives Repository. However a project has been started whereby these inventories will be made available on our website as well. Below, please find a list of the inventories which are already available.
The inventories listed below is not exhaustive and will be added to on a regular basis.
Please take note that the inventories might sometimes contain words which are insensitive, offensive or not politically correct, however it has been used in context of the period covered by the archival collection and in no way reflects the viewpoint or policy of the National Archives and Records Service of South Africa.
