Rev. Daniel Cornel Marivate (1897- ) minister of the Tsonga Presbyterian Church, music composer, writer, teacher, scout leader and politician. Has lived most of his life in Valdezia, Northern Transvaal, except for a period in Atteridgeville as minister of the Presbyterian church there. Collection consists of Rev. Marivate's private papers reflecting his various activities and interest fields. Of special interest is the nearly complete set of the Valdezia Bulletin, later The Light, produced almost singlehanded by the donor.
