| Raw audio |
Refers to audio voice recorded with no editing. All recorded noise is still present in the audio including, unwanted sounds, breaths and mouth clicks |

| WAV (Waveform Audio Format) |
A wave file is uncompressed data, as close a copy to the original analog data as possible, and is much larger than the same file would be in a compressed format such as MP3 or RealAudio. |

A visual representation of the audio signal as displayed in recording and editing software. |
