The National Library of South Africa (NLSA), in partnership with the National Archives and Records Service of South Africa (Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC)), is honoured to extend this formal invitation to you and your organisation to participate in the upcoming 2nd Regional Preservation Conference, taking place on the 6th and 7th of November 2025, at the NLSA’s Pretoria Campus.
This year’s conference is hosted in celebration of World Digital Preservation Day and will be held under the theme: “Why We Preserve.” As digital transformation accelerates across the globe, the preservation of cultural heritage, institutional memory, and public records becomes ever more critical. The conference will convene thought leaders, professionals, academics, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and reflect on the enduring value of preservation in the digital era.
