In terms of Section 32 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act (Act No. 2 of 2000, as amended) (PAIA), the Information Officer of each public body must annually submit to the Human Rights Commission a report on certain issues pertaining to PAIA. This report is usually submitted in April of each year. As the National Archives and Records Service of South Africa (NARSSA) is a programme within the National Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC), its report would be contained within the larger report submitted by the DSAC. The reports below contains only the NARSSA contribution.
