Pietermaritzburg Trained as a social worker in England, and a Quaker, "Bunty" Biggs worked with the Quaker Relief Service before coming to South Africa in 1953. A member of the Black Sash, and founder member of Kupugani, she worked with the Pietermaritzburg Child Welfare in Edenvale. She opposed "Black Spot" removals in KwaZulu-Natal, and was a member of the Pietermaritzburg Dependent Conference.
